From parades and marches, to ceremonies and other events, there are plenty of Pride celebrations across the five boroughs throughout the month of June. And the NYPD has shared how it plans to keep all attendees and participants safe.

Pride Month celebrations are planned throughout NYC for the rest of June, with Brooklyn’s Pride Parade taking place this weekend. The NYPD has said there are no credible threats of violence targeting any of the event, but they’re staying vigilant for everyone’s safety. NBC New York’s Lynda Baquero reports.
